Today I woke up wanting to take advantage of the first matinee of the day $6 movie price at the Century Theater near my house (on Katella right past The Pond/Honda Center if you live around here) to see one of the Oscar nominated films "An Education". Curtis was going to come with me. Well, we ended up not making it in time and so, we just went home and he ate some leftover gumbo and cake. Because seriously, we needed help finishing that stuff off! After he left to go back to work I got prepped for an audition. It was for a musical and so I needed a song. I hadn't really prepared much in advance so I used a song I had used before.
Then I walked Frankie (really loving my new skechers shape ups!) and then got all cleaned up and pretty-fied for the audition. It went much better than I expected but I think it still could've gone better. Either way it was fast (always a good thing in theater auditions) and they asked me to come back to call backs- yay! I haven't done a musical in years and so, musical auditions make me very nervous. But I got through it! It felt good to get out there again!
