02-06-10 FINALLY, I can breathe.

So, this day was a Saturday. On Thursday I had a major freak out. On Friday I had calmed down some and several of my friends had come to my aid to help out in anyway they could which was comforting and humbling. I have good friends. Oh yeah, Friday was also the opening night of my show "Jake's Women" at The Costa Mesa Playhouse. It went VERY well. The audience really seemed to enjoy it and Curtis came to see and he loved it! So, YAY! Whenever you're cast in a show you have no idea if it will be good or not. It's always nice to get validation that you are entertaining on that first night!

So, on this lovely Saturday I went to the bank to deposit money that was given to me as an early birthday present to help me out of my financial hole. I took Frankie with me because he likes car rides and dislikes being left at home when I go places so I take him with me whenever I am going somewhere that I can easily take him. And I was going to the ATM not the actual bank so it was fine. Well, the bank is right near the Santa Ana River which we had visited before when it was a dry riverbed. It had rained on Friday so I figured we could check it out with water in it.
Picture of the rain on Friday (in fact I've also added it to Friday's log because THIS is my photo of the day for Friday. I've decided that my good deeds will only be in the photo of the day if they are easily photographed):

Pictures of the river!

Frankie had a great time exploring a bit and I got some pics of the actual river as a river. Then we headed home.

It was a lovely, relaxing day after a very stressful week! It felt good to relax and just breathe. Then, that night was my "Gala Opening" for my show. It went well again and Curtis joined me and the cast after. We had some nice talks and it was a lovely day AND night all in all. :)
