Continuing to "Stir Things Up" even though I am poor! It's my birthday week so, it's been pretty busy! Have I mentioned that my niece's school district gets the entire 3rd week of February off for "Ski Week"? Well, they do and my brother and sis in law do as well because they both teach in the same district. So every year they do a lot of stuff during this week. Me and my niece's birthday is also during this week usually so, there is that as well. Every year me, my sis in law, my nieces and Curtis go to Disneyland for the day for me and my youngest niece's birthday. Usually we go a whole day and then have dinner at my mom's house. Sometimes my brother and/or my mom will join us. This year it was just me, my sis in law, my nieces and Curtis along with some family friends who usually join us for part of the day as well. But I joined the group kind of late because I prefer to sleep in if possible, Curtis was even later due to a meeting and audition he had and then my sis in law and nieces had to leave somewhat early because my oldest niece had soccer practice for their final All Star games this weekend and she had already missed a couple practices. So.... it wasn't quite the same this year. We definitely had a fun time but it wasn't like it normally is. What can I say? Sometimes, life happens.
But we also got to see my friend Julie who just happened to be there for a work lunch at the very exclusive private Club 33. It was great to see her because while my and my niece's birthday isn't until Sunday it was actually Julie's birthday so I was glad I got to spend a part of it with her!
All in all it was a pretty darned good day!
