01-29-10 Frankie Goes to Runyon Canyon
This was also a great LA day! I've always wanted to check out Runyon Canyon but even when I lived in Hollywood RIGHT by it, I never had been. So, this has been something I've been wanting to do for a long, long time.
Curtis and I woke up early and threw Frankie into the car to head back up to LA. After looking around for a bit we finally found the right spot, parked and headed in!
We hiked up and had a great time! Frankie got to meet a lot of dogs and nobody gave him any grief for being a pitbull! So far, in our travels to LA with Frankie he's been very well received and not at all judged for being a pitbull! That's good to know!
It was a great workout and it took us a little over an hour or so to hike up to the top and back down to the car. There are some great views there but this day it was a little bit hazy.
After that we needed to stop by out friend (and Curtis's business partner) Zeke's house to help him with some camera issues. But he wasn't home right when we finished so we went to a little cafe to get some coffee while we waited. I had a pretty latte.
Frankie liked hanging out on the street by the cafe and saying hello to everyone who passed.
Then we went to Zeke's where his dog Padfoot and Frankie had a great time hanging out together.
Again, we have some fun video of this day and of Frankie's day in Hollywood but, I haven't had a chance to edit it.
Then we came home and Curtis had a meeting here in the OC and I got ready to go out. We grabbed some dinner and then saw our friends in the show "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" at the Maverick Theater in Fullerton.
Twas a very good day indeed!
